Acceptance of Terms
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client", "you", or "your") and Elgin Roofing Inc., a company incorporated in Ontario, Canada, with its principal place of business at 240 Elm Street, Aylmer, ON N5H 3M8. These Terms apply to all use of the Site, all quote requests, all service agreements, and all communications between you and Elgin Roofing.

Use of This Website
You agree to use this Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict or inhibit anyone else's use of the Site. You must not:
• Use the Site in any way that violates applicable federal, provincial, or local laws or regulations.
• Transmit unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional material.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its related systems.
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Site without prior written consent.
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form on the Site.

Quotes and Estimates
Any quote or estimate provided by Elgin Roofing, whether submitted online, delivered in person, or communicated by phone or email, is valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated in writing. Quotes are based on information provided by you and a physical or visual inspection of the property. Final pricing may be adjusted if unforeseen conditions are discovered during work.
Submission of a contact or quote request form does not constitute a binding contract. A binding service agreement is formed only upon written acceptance of a formal written quote by both parties.

Service Agreements
All roofing and exterior services provided by Elgin Roofing are subject to a separate written service agreement or contract signed by both parties. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and a signed service agreement, the signed service agreement shall prevail.
Elgin Roofing reserves the right to decline any project at its sole discretion.

Payment Terms
Payment terms, deposit requirements, and schedules will be specified in your service agreement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
• A deposit may be required prior to the commencement of work.
• Final payment is due upon completion of the project.
• Accounts outstanding beyond the agreed payment due date may be subject to interest charges and collection proceedings.
Financing options are available through our third-party partner, FinanceIt. Financing terms, approval, and conditions are governed entirely by FinanceIt's own agreements and policies, which are independent of Elgin Roofing.

Warranties
Elgin Roofing provides workmanship warranties on all completed projects. Specific warranty terms will be detailed in your service agreement and vary depending on the scope of work and materials used.
Where applicable, manufacturer product warranties (including GAF Golden Pledge and other GAF warranties) are passed through to the client in accordance with the manufacturer's terms and conditions. Elgin Roofing makes no additional representations beyond those expressly stated in the applicable warranty documentation.
Warranties are void if:
• Work or modifications are performed on the completed project by parties other than Elgin Roofing without prior written consent.
• Damage arises from events outside our control, including but not limited to severe weather, acts of God, structural issues pre-existing the project, or improper use or maintenance.
• Payment obligations under the service agreement have not been fulfilled.

Intellectual Property
All content on this Site, including text, images, graphics, logos, videos, and design elements, is the property of Elgin Roofing Inc. or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable Canadian and international copyright and intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, or transmit any content from this Site without prior written permission from Elgin Roofing, except for personal, non-commercial use.

Photo and Media Use
Elgin Roofing reserves the right to photograph and record completed projects for use in marketing, promotional, and portfolio materials, including on our website, social media, and in print. If you object to your project being photographed or used in this manner, please notify us in writing prior to the commencement of work.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Elgin Roofing shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site, any delay in or failure to perform services, or any reliance on information provided on the Site.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to a service agreement shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Elgin Roofing under that agreement.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and all information, content, and materials available on it are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services, including social media platforms and our financing partner. These links are provided for convenience only. Elgin Roofing does not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for the content or practices of any third-party sites. Your use of third-party sites is governed by their respective terms and policies.

Privacy

Governing Law
These Terms and any disputes arising from them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario for the resolution of any disputes.

Changes to These Terms
Elgin Roofing reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.

Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed from these Terms, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any signed service agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Elgin Roofing with respect to the subject matter herein and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether oral or written.
